We then had to perform what we had come up with to the rest of the class. We had decided to set our piece in a room with six random characters (later we decided to make them former or current convicts) and that they had to work together to find their way out as they have no idea why they resulted in there. They found various notes and objects as the scene went on allowing the audience to have their own interpretation of how they could have got out. One other option we had considered was to use the audience as the outline of the room, however this was later dropped due to the fact that the time was very tight due to Peter Pan taking place at the same time so we had to prioritise that production over this project. We also attempted to add a audience member factor it by trying to think of ways they can decide decision making options throughout the whole performance. However, this was later dropped due to the fact that there would be too many endings to write and since we did not have that much time to rehearse since everyone's schedules were getting busier, rehearsal time in the class was the most valuable time we had including Self Directed Learning.
The feedback that we had been given was to make the plot clearer and to use the fore stage more as it felt very empty as we were mainly placed near the back of the stage which resulted in poor projection and failed to inform the audience of the plot.
