Higher Education in general is where the pathway of a student can be discovered. However there can be many implications that need to be considered before deciding whether to enter Higher Education or Full-Time Employment. The pros to going to Higher Education are that the experience factor to it will allow the student not only learn a range of skills but apply them to their every day lives as they will wish to pursue the career path they have chosen to take when choosing the course for University. Another pro is that they are able to gain a qualification from their experience and it can be said that University encourages independence, especially when it comes to accommodation, if taken, and financial challenges.
However, the cons to Higher Education is that the Financial side may be that it can be expensive with accommodation often being around £100+ every week with the addition of food management and other maintenance fees for the student. This can also link to those especially who live abroad. In addition, the social part of University can be a side track to the actual educational purpose of University.
